What is free

All five guided prayer walkthroughs. Journaling, in all three forms. Centering prayer, imaginative meditation, and Scripture meditation. Every memorization drill. Your prayer list. The church and public prayer walls. Reading plans. Stories of Grace. Every verse we show you, in your own translation.

None of that is limited, and none of it is a trial. If a practice helps you pray, remember, confess, lament, or pay attention, it is not something we are willing to charge you for by the use.

What costs money, and why

The AI features are different. Every Scripture question, every generated prayer, every Spiritual Director message is a real request to a language model, and each one has a real cost to us that scales with how much you use it. That is the only thing we meter.

The free plan includes a monthly allowance of each so you can actually use them rather than sample them. Premium removes the allowances. If you never subscribe, you still have the whole practice product.

How our billing works

• •One price for everyone. We do not test different prices on different people. The numbers on our pricing page are the numbers you pay.
• •Cancellation that works. Cancel from your Settings page in a few clicks. No phone call, no email, no retention maze. You keep Premium through the end of the period you already paid for.
• •Nothing is deleted if you downgrade. Your prayers, journal entries, conversations, and Spiritual Director memory stay exactly where they are. You simply return to the free allowances.
• •The weekly plan is the cheap way in, not a trap. We offer weekly, monthly, and yearly. Yearly is the best value by a wide margin and we say so on the pricing page rather than burying it. Weekly exists so someone can try Premium without committing to a year, not so we can quietly charge more over time.

Where the money goes

Model usage, servers, and databases, then the time it takes to keep building this. Subscriptions are what let the free plan stay as complete as it is. If you are paying, that is the thing you are actually paying for.
